Uncle Truman enlisted in the Army, he will be missed!!

Well my 22 year old brother (aka..very loved and adored uncle) will be leaving for basic training in as soon as 2 weeks.  We don't have the exact dates yet, but we are very proud as a family to now have an immediate family member serving our amazing country we live in!  Truman is perfect for this, he's a conservative and a true patriot and fighter for freedom.  He's very excited!  We are grateful for all those who are serving Gods Country, the awesome USA!  God bless this land and those who fight for it!

I am always amazed by the men who choose that life....my brother just got back from his 2nd tour in Iraq and I admire him and the life he is choosing to lead. I know it's not easy but it is so honorable....Good for your brother! Alma's "little" brother just enlisted too, and actually left yesterday for basic in South Carolina. Boo Rah, Semper Fi, and all that jazz.

GOOD GOING TRUMAN!!! That's really awesome! Tell him from experience (my brother in the airforce) to write lots of letters when he has time to all his family and friends. It's hard at bootcamp but soooo worth it in the end! Congrats Truman!

Dad, Wendell, and I are so proud of Truman in making this BIG decision to serve our country. This is a natural progression in his development towards that awesome person he is becoming. We love Truman with all our hearts and pledge our allegiance to this great country by supporting Truman in his patriotic endeavor.
Love, Mom

Ooooh wow! That's crazy! Then again, we do have some members of the military in our family, all have had their share of life learning lessons by being it. For some reason, it seems like all boot camps are in the middle of egypt of the usa, in the south somewhere. Give him a hug for me and tell him I love him and I wish him luck!
